Last Day!

The boys and girls gave away their trophies to another team!  The boys gave theirs to the Oregon Solar Car Team and the girls gave theirs to the Coppel Solar Car Team!

While driving yesterday Hillary Colbert's breakfast was accidentally eaten.  To prevent this from happening again she wrote her name on the bag and hung it where nobody can reach it!

After three day of racing, we have finally made it to the last day of the race!!  We are proud to announce that both teams took the first place trophies for day three and hope to have the same success today!!  We will stop racing at two this afternoon and later tonight hold the banquet where the overall winners will be announced! 

After a long day of being sick, Mrs. Ellison has returned for the third day of racing!  She isn't one hundred percent yet but a full recovery is expected hopefully by tomorrow!  As you can see she is kicking back in the garage right now.   Even though she was absent yesterday, the Lady Races completed a little over 100 laps and apparently she used the the same strategy to successfully complete 200 laps to the restroom!

Day Three!

Our team started day three off right with both cars receiving first place trophies for day two!!  We have been on the track for almost an hour and are holding onto first!  We are hoping for another great day  and want to thank everyone for their support!

Both of our cars finished day two in first place!!  After we pulled of the track our team got to work positioning the cars to charge and making sure everything still worked!  Luckily this is the least stressful part of the day which gives our team time to sit down to supper and relax for a few minutes!
